Every great organization begins with great people and that's no different for the church. The ministries of PCC Somerset are led by the gifted, hard-working, and humble men and women of this congregation as they volunteer their time and talent out of a love for God and this community. We think you'll be encouraged by their leadership and hope you'll be a part of this incredible group of people one day. Take a look below to get an idea of some of the ways we serve as a church.
Kidz Point is the place where your kids will learn about God, His love for them, and how to relate to Him. Through engaging stories, activities, and crafts, our team of teachers are committed to making the Bible real and relevant. Currently, our Toddler-Kindergarten class is using a curriculum from the Jesus Storybook Bible, and our Grades 1-5 class is using Group’s Hands-On Bible Curriculum. When the kids are dismissed after our worship time, follow the crowds to the Kidzpoint table. Sign them in, and someone will direct you to their classroom.
Action should always be based on awareness. This principle guides the way we view our calling and purpose as a church and motivates us to continually be present and engaged in the life of this community. From activities designed for family fun to meeting the needs of the overlooked and underserved, our goal is to strengthen Somerset and its neighbors.
PCC-Somerset partners with Children’s Hopechest in Guatemala City, Guatemala. There we come along side Operation Rescue and their Lean on Me School where underprivileged children from the poorest areas of Guatemala City get a free education and meals. Children’s Hopechest is a community to community program offering the opportunity to sponsor children in the program. We invite you to partner with us on this amazing journey.
