“Do to others as you would have them do to you.”
At PCC, we try and shy away from the term ‘going to church‘ in favor of the idea of ‘being the church.’
We believe that every member is gifted and called (see Ephesians 4, Romans 12, and 1 Corinthians 12) to a unique place in the church for the good of our community through Kingdom living. For this reason, we encourage every member to become active in serving. Our goal is to keep things simple so that we can focus our time and gifts on the things that matter to most… the things that are eternal.
When you sign-up for a volunteer opportunity, our goal will be to follow up with you within a week to talk over ‘next steps.’
We are excited to see what God will do when His church works together toward a common goal.
“What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”
